Introducing
Ohr HaTalmud

Ohr HaTalmud is based in the Ramat Eshkol neighborhood of Yerushalayim and offers highly motivated talmidim the opportunity to connect to a real rich and historic mesorah in Torah learning, enabling you to forever open up any sugya and see how each page of gemara is enlightening and incredibly relevant to daily life.

At Ohr HaTalmud, talmidim experience next-level learning for life. We are led by our Roshei Yeshiva, Rabbi Reuven Buckler, legendary Maggid Shiur and Rosh Kollel who holds semicha from the founding Rosh Yeshiva of Ner Yisrael in Baltimore, Rav Yaakov Yitzchok Ruderman, zt”l and Rabbi Yakov Nordlicht, a noted Maggid Shiur, writer, Rav and community leader. The word אור or light connotes clarity. You will clearly know a sugya and even the halachic concepts mentioned in the Gemara. Challenge yourself to raise the bar. Understand a page of Talmud like never before, achieving clarity in your learning.

The Ohr HaTalmud Experience

01.

A True Mesorah

Envision learning from a Rav directly connected to Rabbi Ruderman, who inherited teachings from Rav Nosson Tzvi Finkel, the Alter of Slabodka. Gain clarity and deeper understanding of Talmudic analysis like never before.

02.

Ideal Location

We are privileged to have our yeshiva within Bnei Yeshivos of Ramat Eshkol. This gives us access to the largest air conditioned Beis Midrash in the entire neighborhood and an overwhelmingly large amount of seforim that you can enjoy at your fingertips.

03.

A Kesher for Life

Rabbi Buckler and Rabbi Rosen live minutes away from Yeshiva allowing you to build a connection with your Rebbeim over a Friday Night Oneg or a Shabbos meal as well.

04.

Next Level Torah

Ohr HaTalmud offers the motivated student a chance to always become enlightened by each and every sugya in Shas, and by extension, become a true beacon of light to all of Klal Yisrael!
